What You’ll Be Contributing:

System Configuration & Administration:

  • Administer and optimize Jira (Software, Service Management, Work Management) and Confluence environments;
  • Develop and maintain workflows, automation, and integrations to enhance efficiency;
  • Configure permission schemes using project roles and user groups to align with organizational standards;
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations;
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls and compliance with data protection regulations.

Customization & Process Improvement:

  • Design and implement tailored Jira workflows, dashboards (in collaboration with the BI Team), and reporting tools;
  • Analyze existing workflows to identify automation and optimization opportunities;
  • Work closely with stakeholders across different teams to understand their needs and provide effective solutions;
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date system configurations, documentation, and best practices;
  • Conduct needs assessments to align Atlassian tools with business objectives.

User Support & Training:

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users;
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user proficiency with Jira and Confluence;
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge bases;
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Governance & Strategic Planning:

  • Manage relationships with Atlassian and third-party vendors for optimal support and feature enhancements;
  • Establish and enforce change management procedures;
  • Stay update on Atlassian Product updates and industry trends.
  • Proactively identifying and implementing improvements to our Atlassian ecosystem

What Sets You Apart:

  • 5+ years as an Atlassian Administrator (Jira, Confluence);
  • Strong expertise in Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, and add-ons;
  • Experience with Confluence space management, templates, and permissions;
  • Knowledge of user management, security controls, and compliance;
  • Scripting experience (Groovy, Python, or REST API) for automation;
  • Experience with JQL and Jira Analytics;
  • Knowledge of Jira Service Management or Scrum/Kanban methodologies;
  • ITIL/ITSM or Agile/Scrum familiarity;
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills;
  • Experience with Power BI is an asset;
  • Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-120, ACP-620) is an asset.
