About Us - Sports Medicine
Our team provides athletic injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and follow-up evaluations tailored to your needs.
From diagnosis to treatment, through rehabilitation and recovery, our team gets you back in the game. Actively involved in the community, our athletic trainers perform on-site injury assessment and treatment during athletic events.
Because injuries don't always occur during regular business hours, we have a certified athletic trainer on-call every weekend.
What You’ll Do
Performs and documents as directed by physician for patients classified as athletes according to state licensure act. Independently assesses patients/athletes to determine appropriate athletic injury care or referral to physician for evaluation. Provides rehabilitation and athletic injury coverage for area schools. In clinical setting, delivers treatment under direction of evaluating therapist to meet stated goals.
This may range from middle school, to high school to college events.
Requirements:
Upon hire, must have Athletic Trainer license for the state in which they are practicing.
Preferred:
Master's degree is preferred but will accept Bachelor's degree.
Two years of working experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer. New graduates are considered with active certification or licensure.
AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
