
This is a full-time position on our Orthopedics Team in Bloomington, Indiana. Works with provider(s) in an outpatient clinic under the supervision of the clinic/practice manager and provider(s). Performs duties associated with direct patient care in accordance with the organization standards. Assists the providers with in-office procedures, treatments, casting, patient education, and assuring efficient patient flow. Patient education will range from explaining next steps in the treatment plan, to educating patients through a home exercise program or bracing. May perform computerized provider order entry per provider. Participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve set outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. May perform duties associated with symptom-management, direct in-clinic patient care, telehealth patient care, quality improvement activities, and other duties as assigned.
