Novant Health Sports Medicine is hiring a full-time Athletic Trainer to support athletes at Ledford High School in Thomasville, NC. At Novant Health, Athletic Trainers act under the supervision of a physician and must adhere to the protocols and guidelines as required by the licensing agency.

What You'll Do

• prevent, examine, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate emergency, acute, and chronic injuries for student athletes
• promote Novant Health through outreach and education for health and wellness in the community

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree, required. Graduate from an accredited athletic training program, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: 2 years, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
• Current AT licensure in appropriate state with the ability to acquire additional state licenses as required prior to first day of employment, required.
• Successfully pass BOC exam, required.
• Hold or ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification, required.
• Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, BFR, Dry Needling or similar, preferred.
• Additional Skills Required: Excellent Customer Service, Written and Oral Communication, basic computer application skills, and ability to multitask.
