About the Position
The primary responsibilities of the Certified Athletic Trainer are to provide exceptional rehabilitative care to injured athletes and patients, to educate athletes, patients, and the public on injury prevention, rehabilitation, wellness and other health-related issues, and to maintain the highest standards of care and integrity. The position will work in the Outpatient Rehab Services Department, Orthopedic Department and at local high schools, middle school, community college and other community events as necessary.

Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, part of Fairview Health Services, is a multi-specialty integrated clinic and hospital located in Grand Rapids, MN. Specialty services offered include oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, OB/Gyn, occupational medicine, and chiropractic. The 50 bed hospital has a Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and Women's Health & Birth unit as well as a surgery center and comprehensive imaging and laboratory services.
