Job Description

Lake Forest High School has a need for game/event staff to assist with and perform duties essential for athletic contests, internal and external. 

Under general direction from the Athletics Department, this position assists with and performs duties needed for the athletic contests. Work will be intermittent throughout the year based on event scheduling and staffing needs. 

Ability to: 
  • Work effectively in a service oriented environment, which is subject to frequent change
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and other event staff
  • Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends. 
Job Functions:
  • Serve in various support rolls for athletic competitions - scoreboard operator, usher, ticket taker, ball person, etc.

Working Conditions:
  • The essential functions are performed indoors and outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environments can range from minimal to loud during events depending on location.
