Job Description

You may have been part of some big projects before, but this work is legacy-building.

Here's your chance to design and deliver efficient, customer-focused services that also enhance accessibility, sustainability and overall quality of living for more people than you've imagined.

In this role, you'll:

Provide high level project coordination and support across a diverse program of active transport and place based initiatives. You’ll work collaboratively with internal teams, councils, state agencies and industry partners to ensure projects are scoped, delivered and reported effectively.

Your work will help drive successful project and program outcomes and support operational readiness across the business. Sitting in the Active Transport, Design & Activation (ATDA) Strategy & Partnerships team, ATDA Integration is responsible for integrating ATDA branch outcomes into the early phases of strategic planning, program development, and the delivery of infrastructure and precinct initiatives. The team focusses on achieving measurable and meaningful ATDA outcomes through the alignment of projects and programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the scoping, development and coordination of project deliverables to achieve project / program outcomes.

• Managing stakeholder expectations and acting as a proactive project interface to meet milestones and timeframes.

• Preparing communication materials, briefings, correspondence and documentation for the program of work.

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support operational readiness and team deliverables.

• Delivering assigned projects within agreed timeframes, quality standards and budget parameters.

• Preparing and presenting project and program status reports in line with reporting methodologies and deadlines.

• Creating and maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure efficient information retrieval and archiving.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Experience coordinating or managing projects in a large, complex organisation, ideally in active transport, urban design or place based work.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholder groups including councils, state agencies and industry.
