Student Engagement & Activities (SEA) - Duties & Responsibilities:
Role-specific duties
The Marketing & Events Coordinator shall:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events designed to enhance ASUWB’s student engagement. Survey students for event effectiveness
Stimulate community interest in the ASUWB Senate and Board of Directors, promoting awareness of the resources ASUWB provides to the student body
Regulate and monitor ASUWB branding, marketing, social media, and the website
Serve as the ASUWB representative on committees about outreach and public relations
Coordinate, create, design, and publish ASUWB Quarterly and Annual Reports
Collaborate with the Director of Finance to manage engagement budgets
Actively communicate with student groups and UW departments to foster strong community relations
Attend at least three (3) Board of Directors meetings per quarter
Meet with the Director of Community Partnerships at least every two (2) weeks
Pay Rate
This position is hourly at $21.30/hour (subject to change on January 1, 2027)
Employment Period (estimated)
September 1st, 2026 - June 30th, 2026
Employment is dependent on SAF funding approval.
