How will you contribute and grow?

For our plant in Wiler bei Utzenstorf, we are looking for a service-oriented, proactive, and reliable:

ASU Industrial Technician (m/f/d, 100%)

  • Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical systems, motor control centers (MCC), power distribution, and auxiliary plant equipment.
  • Instrumentation & Calibration (MSR): Calibrate, inspect, and maintain instrumentation, sensors, control valves, transmitters, and analytical gas measurement systems (analyzing oxygen, nitrogen, and argon purity).
  • Automation & Process Control: Perform diagnostics, fault-finding, and small software/hardware modifications on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) under the guidance of our engineering experts.
  • Electrical Safety Compliance: Ensure all on-site installations comply with Swiss electrical regulations (NIV, ESTI). Participate in periodic internal safety audits and technical inspections.
  • Project Support & Revisions: Coordinate on-site electrical modifications, commissioning of new systems, and collaborate during major turnaround plant revisions.
  • On-Call / Picket Duty: Participate in the local on-call rotation (approx. 6–8 weeks per year) to handle emergency electrical troubleshooting, ensuring continuous customer supply and 24/7 plant reliability.

Are you a match?

  • Technical Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ) as an Automatiker, Elektromonteur, Elektroinstallateur, or Netzelektriker (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • Electrical License: Swiss operating electrician authorization according to Art. 13 NIV (Betriebselektriker-Bewilligung) is highly desired, or the eligibility and willingness to obtain it promptly.
  • Industrial Experience: Proven experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial setting, ideally in chemical processing, oil & gas, or process automation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and process instrumentation. Experience with PLCs and DCS systems is a strong advantage.
  • Languages: English is a MUST. German is a strong PLUS
  • Softskills Self-reliant, analytical, highly safety-conscious, resilient, and an effective team communicator.
