JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Astro Family Internship Programme 2027 – Creative

As Astro celebrates 30 years of serving generations of Malaysians, we're proud to introduce the Astro Family Internship Programme, an internship opportunity exclusively for Astro customers and their eligible family members.

The Creative category gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and discover how Astro’s teams create, produce and connect content and experiences with audiences across its platforms and brands.

Interns may work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to areas such as:

• Content
• Production
• Creative Services
• Marketing
• Corporate Communications
• Digital & Social Media
• Other creative and content-related functions

Depending on your internship placement, you may support projects, assist with content or campaigns, conduct research, participate in team activities and learn how ideas are brought to life at Astro.

What You’ll Do

As an intern at Astro, you may have the opportunity to:

• Support day-to-day activities, projects and initiatives within your assigned team
• Assist with content development, production, campaigns, communications or creative projects
• Conduct research and gather insights to support projects and business initiatives
• Prepare presentations, reports, creative materials or project updates
• Participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions and project meetings
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across different functions
• Gain exposure to how ideas are developed, produced and brought to audiences
• Experience how content and creative work come together across Astro’s platforms

Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, ask questions, contribute your ideas and gain a better understanding of the creative industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for students who are:

• Malaysian citizen
• Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree programme
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (or equivalent)
• Available for a minimum three (3)-month internship between February and July 2027
• Astro customer or eligible family member (children, grandchildren or siblings) of an Astro customer
• Able to provide a valid active Astro account number as part of the application process
• Curious and eager to learn
• Creative and open to exploring new ideas
• Passionate about content, media, entertainment, marketing or communications
• Collaborative and comfortable working with others
• Proactive and willing to take on new challenges
• Open-minded and ready to learn from real workplace experience
