Job Description

You can be part of the team that enables significant service improvements for our people.

You know that not all tech and digital roles are the same. Be part of a team that ensures a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities and regions.

In this role, you'll:

Working as part of a team delivering secure and reliable platforms, the Platform Assurance Lead strengthens enterprise risk management by ensuring platforms are compliant, resilient, and aligned to regulatory, policy, and SLA obligations. Through establishing and enforcing assurance frameworks, the role reduces operational and security risk, validates control effectiveness, and drives continuous improvement—resulting in higher platform trust, improved audit outcomes, fewer incidents, and increased business confidence in critical technology platforms.

  • You will define, govern, and continuously improve the Platform Assurance Framework, including standards, baselines, risk registers, and governance reporting.
  • You will ensure platforms meet regulatory and organisational requirements through vulnerability management, control testing, remediation, and audit readiness.
  • You will drive platform reliability, resilience, and secure delivery by partnering with teams on SLAs, DR/BCP, operational readiness, and embedding DevSecOps automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • You will provide clear, executive-level insight into risk, compliance, and assurance maturity, including third‑party and supply chain risks, to inform investment and prioritisation decisions.
