We'relooking for an experienced auditor to join our Wellington Assurance team as Senior AssociateFrom our offices at the centre of our vibrant capital city,you'llplay a key role in external audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients while working alongside a collaborative and high-performing team.

Your day-to-day could include:

• Collaborate closely with senior staff on statutory audit engagements, guiding projects frominitialplanning through to final review and contributing to the evolution of our auditing practices.

• Play a pivotal role in building public trust by delivering high-quality audits of financial statements that enhance the financial integrity and transparency of our clients.

• Work directly with clients and high-performing teams to understand business needs, ensure compliance with policies and standards, test internal controls, and substantiate financial information using best-practice audit methodologies.

• Supervise and mentor junior staff and graduates, fostering a culture of excellence while supporting their professional growth and development.

• Leverage leading-edge technology to deliver high-quality external audit work in line with PwC auditmethodologyand auditing standards, helping set new benchmarks for quality and innovation.

This is an excellent opportunity to build on your external audit experience, ideally gained within a large, globally recognized professional services or audit firm.

• Minimum2.5years’experience delivering external audit engagements within a complex, regulated environment.

• Professionally qualified or actively working towards a recognized accounting qualification (e.g.CAANZ, CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent).

• Demonstrated experience contributing to end-to-end external audit engagements, including coaching, supervising, and reviewing the work of junior team members.

• Strong working knowledge of internationally recognized financial reporting standards, particularly IFRS.

• A relevant bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or a closely related discipline.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
