Walsh University and its growing DeVille School of Business invites applications (rank open) for a tenure-track or (non-tenure-track) position in the finance or financial economics discipline beginning the fall of 2025. The preferred candidate will ideally hold an earned terminal degree (PhD, DBA) with a specialty in finance or economics with a declared field in financial economics or a confirmed dissertation date from an accredited institution prior to the intended start-date. Applicants who hold an MBA Degree or Masters Degree in Finance, or similar degree, will also be considered.
The successful candidate should be experienced and comfortable teaching in an environment that includes a catholic worldview as well as integrated and experiential learning pedagogy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Dean, the successful candidate will play a vital role in the design and instruction of courses in both the undergraduate and MBA programs of the DeVille School of Business at Walsh University. We would also like to found an AUBER member center for regional economic studies. The drive to found such a center is a plus. Experience in such a center is a plus, but not necessary. A course release is attached to the role of Center Director.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Must understand and support the Mission, Vision, and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University, as a Catholic higher education university as expressed in Ex Corde Ecclesiae, and possess the following:
Education:
A Masters degree in finance or economics (MSF, MBA-Finance, etc.), terminal degree preferred (PhD, DBA, etc.)
Certifications are a plus (CFA, CFP, Kingdom Advisor)
Work
Experience:
Professional experience in the finance industry where experiences are aligned with the above teaching responsibilities is preferred
