
Position: Assistant Store Manager
Department: Store / Warehouse

Role Purpose To assist the Store Manager in managing day-to-day store operations, ensuring effective manpower planning and shift control, and smooth inward and outward scheduling to support uninterrupted production and dispatch activities.
• Ensuring to handle all store areas of daily business operations, production, human resources, and related departments.
• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on daily operations.
• Managing employee schedules, attendance, motivating, and disciplining staff.
• Monitoring and maintaining suitable store inventory levels.
• Overall supervision of stores' related activities.
• Develop and maintain product displays and visual presentation
• Coordination with subordinates to maintain documentation and keep accurate records.
• Ensuring a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing store environment
• Monitoring daily stock reconciliation and preparing the reports.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for stock replenishment according to the plan.
• Identifying and disposing of obsolete stock.
• Participating in stock-taking activities
• Maintain proper housekeeping and stacking of materials in store areas.

Planning and coordinating activities that ensure stock is controlled in a secure and usable manner.
• Ensuring that all materials are correctly handled and received, including receiving, recording, locating, and issuing as per the standard operating procedure of the department.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in warehouse management and inventory control
• In liaison with line departments, prepare a plan and forecast stock inventory.
• Any other duties assigned by the HOD
Qualification & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma (preferred)
• 5–8 years’ experience in store / warehouse operations
• Manufacturing / lubricants / chemical industry experience preferred
Skills Required
• Strong operational coordination skills
• Manpower handling and leadership
• SAP and documentation knowledge
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
