We are seeking an Assistant Field Technician with a basic understanding of electrical systems to support our field operations. This role involves assisting with installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment at job sites. Ideal candidates are hands-on, safety-conscious, and eager to learn from experienced technicians in the field.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Assist senior technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
· Help set up tools, materials, and work areas at job sites.
· Perform basic wiring, conduit installation, and equipment mounting under supervision.
· Support testing and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems.
· Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
· Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
· Document work performed and assist with job site reports.
· Travel to various customer or project sites as required.
Professional Qualifications:
· Some experience or training in electrical work (e.g., trade school, vocational program, or on-the-job).
· Familiarity with basic hand and power tools used in electrical work.
· Ability to follow instructions and learn from experienced technicians.
· Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to work outdoors and in various environments.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, lifts, or in tight spaces.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· OSHA 10 or other safety certifications.
· Basic knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.
· Experience reading electrical drawings or schematics.
