Responsibilities Include:

  • Serves as Manager on Duty during the evening hours and ensures Front Desk is always covered
  • Reports any maintenance needs to Engineering daily.
  • Assists Leadership with personnel functions – including, but not limited to, performance management, counseling, scheduling, training, brand standard compliance, and recognition.
  • Ensures that all VIP rooms are inspected before arrival. Will greet and escort VIP to the room.
  • Performs property walks with the General Manager and/or Director of Front Office.
  • Coordinates the maintenance weeks with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office.
  • Performs daily inventory and inspections of all public areas and coordinates the prompt response to any substandard area to the appropriate department.
  • Whenever a potential sell out exists, employee will coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure that all vacant rooms are cleaned and ready for occupancy.
  • Prioritizes outside contractor visits.
  • Carries out any reasonable request by management of which the employee can perform.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 + years of Hotel management experience
  • At least 2 years of Night Audit experience
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills required
  • Will perform responsibilities 80% of the time at the Front Desk and 20% Managerial administration

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Front Office Manager position.
  • 4+ years of Hotel Management experience
  • Prior experience with Voice system.
