Position: Accounting Assistant / Manager (Logistic industry)

Budget: 70,000 THB/Month

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of Finance and Accounting operations, including Banking, Reporting, and remittance to principal.
• Ensure timely review and submission of all company taxes (CIT, VAT (PP30, PP36), WHT, PIT, etc.).
• Authorize and execute daily payments to vendors, suppliers, and manage petty cash.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of all accounts, including AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cost, PL, BS, Reconciliation, cash flow, forecasts, and advance payments.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial closings and ensure smooth statutory audits in accordance with accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with the latest accounting standards and government regulations in all financial activities and practices.
• Provide financial support to internal departments to facilitate informed business decisions.
• Coordinate with auditors, DBD, and other relevant third parties.
• Manage, mentor, and develop team members.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in a leadership role, preferably as an Accountant Manager in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related sectors.
• CPD license required.
• CPA certification and/or experience with a Big Four accounting firm is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in English communication skills is essential.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial concepts, and Thai taxation standards.
• Advanced computer skills, especially in MS Excel; experience with Google Sheets is advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership abilities with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of motivating and developing team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to coach team members and resolve issues on behalf of the team.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Flexibility and eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting field.
