
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Association Banking, Director of Relationship Management is responsible for managing and directing the current Association Banking ("AB") sales process. This position reviews, modifies, and creates the client management and sales process, to maximize profitability and client satisfaction. The Association Banking, Director of Relationship Management actively participates in professional industry groups and conferences, representing the bank and the interests of our clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prospects for new accounts and relationships for the department. Manages and maintains existing relationships, to ensure profitability and long-term client satisfaction.
2. Evaluates and updates the AB sales process to ensure bank policies are followed, and group is maximizing profitability and client satisfaction.
3. Coach AB Relationship Managers on sales process, client solutions, and industry best-practices.
4. Work with internal and external partners to validate current product offerings, analyze and recommend new product solutions.
5 Participate with management and internal partners on new projects, data collection, and reports.
6. Collaborates with the Training Department on training sessions for AB Relationship Managers.
7. Act as an escalation point for general department inquiries or complaints.
8. Serve as a liaison between the internal partners and the Association Banking department for sales and product related updates, processes, and efficiencies.
9. Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
10. Completes all requires BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree plus 5 years related experience and/or training and 5 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format; Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Community Association Manager's License, or to be acquired within 6 months of hiring.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR WORK OF OTHERS
Supervises a small group (1-3) of employees in the same or lower classification. No direct supervision, but collaborates on AB Relationship Manager reviews.
