Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO invites applications for Associate/Full Professor positions in Strategy, Decision Making, Big Data/AI, Operations and Supply Chain Management. Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO is a 15 year old private institution founded by the leading Russian entrepreneurs and companies. Responsibilities: The newly hired faculty members will be expected to teach in the school’s flagship degree and executive programs, develop new educational content, and engage in research activities aimed at producing relevant thought leadership for the global academic and practitioner audiences. The desire and ability to collaborate with other faculty, research, and program staff is crucial. The new hires at the level of full professor will also become involved in the development of junior faculty.
All positions are based in Moscow with three-year contracts available on competitive basis. The school provides a comprehensive expatriate package, including housing and schooling allowances. Preferred starting date is September 2021/January 2022.
Qualifications: a doctoral degree in business, economics or other related discipline; established track record of international publications; successful teaching experience in MBA and / or executive education programs; proficiency in written and spoken English. Successful candidates will also demonstrate an ability to bridge the gap between academia and practice.
Round 1applications must include (1) cover letter explaining the candidate’s motivation to join SKOLKOVO, research interests and plans, and teaching philosophy, (2) full CV with the names and contact details of three references. Short-listed candidates will be invited to submit additional application materials for Round 2.
Round 2 requires submission of (1) sample research papers, (2) sample course/program design (e.g., syllabus) and teaching evaluations, and participation in online interviews.
Candidates invited to Round 3of the application process will need to submit three letters of reference and come to Moscow for on-campus interviews, teaching session (executive teaching skills to be demonstrated) and a research seminar.
