Global Investment Services

GIS provides strategic investment services and financial management across GIC’s public and private market asset classes. Leveraging data and emerging technologies, the department drives the development and execution of business infrastructure plans while shaping scalable, agile, and resilient operating models that enable growth and deliver operational excellence.

GIS provides operational expertise spanning market settlements, transaction management and execution, investment data operations, portfolio finance, valuations, accounting, and tax services, as well as portfolio administration.

Investment Enterprise Data Solutions You will play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise data capabilities that support investment decision-making across public and private markets. This includes designing and leading strategic data solutions, managing the investment book of record, and developing robust reference data frameworks. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across investment, risk, technology, and other enterprise functions to implement scalable data services and solutions that enable new investment strategies and products. Through strategic partnerships and best practices in data management, you will help build a unified, resilient, and future-ready data ecosystem for the firm.

What impact can you make in this role?
You will be part of an integrated team that provides investment services across all public and private markets asset classes for GIC.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and analytical individual with an interest in supporting total portfolio rebalancing to join us as an Associate / Assistant Vice President.

What will you do as an Associate / Assistant Vice President, Total Portfolio Rebalancing Services?

The candidate will work with the investment teams and technology group to ensure timely and accurate rebalancing trade management and execution. The rebalancing portfolio coverage is global and includes assets such as Equities, Bonds, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Futures, Collateralised Securities and other derivatives. Primarily responsibilities would include:

• Manage the rebalancing operations
• Analyse rebalancing data to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues timely
• Engage portfolio managers and business managers on portfolio rebalancing requirements
• Develop, implement and maintain controls and workflows to ensure quality and timeliness of data
• Evaluate new business requirements, propose and build system solutions
• Adopt user-empowered tools to produce consistently high-quality and timely rebalancing data to support investment execution

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy or related fields with at least 2-4 years' relevant working experience in operations, fund management or large-scale data operation fields
• Possess good knowledge of financial instruments and markets. Knowledge of leveraging AI toolkits is advantageous.
• Possess strong analytical abilities with an eye for detail
• Forward thinker who is able to “connect the dots” and appreciate both the big picture and relevant small details
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong learning agility
• Team player with the willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• A high level of proficiency in MS Office is required. Exposure to technology such as SQL, Python, Tableau will be an advantage.
