Job Description

[What the role is]

You will support MAS' organisation-wide digitalisation efforts by working with business departments to apply existing Whole-of-Government (WOG) digital and AI tools to improve work processes and outcomes.

[What you will be working on]

You will configure available tools, develop and iteratively refine prompts and workflows, and test the quality and consistency of outputs with users to ensure that the solutions are fit-for-purpose, reliable and readily adopted. This role offers hands-on exposure to applied AI, business process improvement, and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging business users to understand pain points, gather requirements, and map existing workflows, translating these into clear problem statements and practical use cases.
  • Identifying and configuring suitable existing WOG digital and AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Desk, Pair, and ChatGPT) to meet users’ needs. This includes setting up prompts, instructions, knowledge sources and simple workflows.
  • Developing, testing and iteratively refining prompts to improve the accuracy, consistency and usefulness of AI-generated outputs, working with users to ensure that the outputs meet their needs.
  • Documenting configurations, prompts, workflows and usage guidance so that solutions can be used and maintained consistently.
  • Supporting project management activities such as maintaining workplans, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely follow-through on deliverables.
  • Keeping abreast of new capabilities in WOG digital and AI tools and sharing relevant practices and reusable approaches with the team and business users.

[What we are looking for]

  • Hands-on experience using and configuring generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
  • Strong prompt development skills, with experience testing and refining prompts to improve output quality and consistency.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, workflow mapping, process documentation, and solution testing.
  • A structured, detail-oriented approach to testing, documentation and follow-through.
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-technical users.
  • Proactive and self-directed, able to take ownership of work and manage multiple use cases concurrently, driving tasks through from start to finish.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.

As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.

All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted or not within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
