Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Workday Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates interested in Human Resources Technology, Enterprise Applications, and Cloud Software Platforms.

In this role, you will support the administration, configuration, reporting, and continuous improvement of our Workday platform. You will work closely with experienced Workday engineers, HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to help deliver innovative solutions that improve employee experience and business operations.

This position offers hands-on training and mentorship with opportunities to develop expertise in Workday HCM, reporting, security, integration, and business process automation.

  • Assist in the administration and support of the Workday platform.
  • Help configure and maintain Workday business processes, organizational structures, and security roles.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts for business stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and support requests, researching and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Assist with data loads, audits, validation activities, and system testing.
  • Support Workday releases, enhancements, and system upgrades.
  • Document business requirements, processes, and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Learn Workday best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in project activities, including testing, training, and deployment support.

  • Bachelor's degree completed within the last two years in:
    • Information Systems
    • Computer Science
    • Business Analytics
    • Management Information Systems (MIS)
    • Human Resources
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and business processes quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship, coursework, or project experience involving:
    • Strong SQL and Relational Data Base understanding
    • Data Modelling experience
    • Enterprise software platforms
    • Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
    • Business systems analysis
    • Data analytics or reporting
    • Application support
  • Exposure to Workday, SAP, Oracle HCM, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Basic knowledge of databases, APIs, XML, JSON, or system integrations.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
