Job Description

The Senior Counsel role will serve as a key legal advisor supporting the company’s acquisition, disposition, redevelopment, development and/or leasing activities. This role is responsible for providing legal guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle for the assigned area(s). The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial real estate law, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage complex transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications required include:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Ohio preferred).
  • 5+ years of legal experience in commercial real estate transactions, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate law.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
