Job Description

About Marvell

Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

At Marvell, we're architecting the future of accelerated infrastructure. The Data Center Interconnect (DCI) organization sits at the center of one of the most transformative technology shifts in decades: the rapid scaling of AI factories, hyperscale cloud infrastructure, and next-generation data centers. As AI workloads expand across clusters, campuses, and continents, the need for high-performance, power-efficient optical connectivity has never been greater.

Our Cloud Optics team develops industry-leading silicon photonics and coherent optical technologies that enable the world's largest cloud providers and AI innovators to build scalable, resilient, and efficient networks. The team pioneered Marvell's market-leading portfolio of coherent pluggable optics and continues to define the future of DCI through breakthrough innovations in coherent DSPs, silicon photonics, and optical networking architectures.
This is a rare opportunity to join a market leader and help shape the technologies powering the next generation of AI infrastructure—from scale-up clusters within AI systems to scale-out fabrics connecting massive AI training environments, and global DCI networks interconnecting hyperscale data centers.

Your Impact

As the AVP of Product Marketing for the DCI business, you will serve as a key business leader responsible for driving product strategy, market expansion, customer engagement, ecosystem development, and commercial success across Marvell's coherent optical networking portfolio.

You will be the voice of the market within Marvell and the voice of Marvell within the industry. Working closely with executive leadership, engineering, sales, operations, corporate marketing, and strategic customers, you will define how Marvell wins in one of the fastest-growing segments of the semiconductor industry.

What You Can Expect

  • Own product-line business planning and long-range market strategy.
  • Develop market models including TAM, SAM, SOM, growth forecasts, and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze emerging trends across AI networking, cloud infrastructure, optical interconnects, silicon photonics, and coherent communications.
  • Translate customer and market insights into differentiated product and platform strategies.

Drive Revenue Growth and Design Wins

  • Lead commercial strategy for Marvell's coherent DCI portfolio.
  • Partner with sales and field organizations to identify, pursue, and secure strategic design wins with hyperscalers, AI infrastructure providers, cloud operators, and system partners.

  • Develop executive-level customer engagement strategies.

Shape the Future of AI and Cloud Networking

  • Influence product roadmaps supporting AI scale-up, scale-out, and DCI architectures.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define future product requirements and investment priorities.
  • Evaluate new market opportunities, adjacent segments, and platform expansion strategies.

Build Industry Influence

  • Serve as a visible industry spokesperson for Marvell's DCI solutions.
  • Present product strategy and business updates to customers, partners, analysts, industry forums, and executive leadership.
  • Support press engagements, analyst briefings, keynote content, thought leadership initiatives, and major industry events.

Develop Strategic Ecosystem Partnerships

  • Establish and manage key technology alliances across cloud, networking, optics, and semiconductor ecosystems.
  • Drive partner strategies that accelerate customer adoption and solution success.
  • Influence standards bodies and industry initiatives relevant to coherent optics and AI networking.

Enable Global Sales Success

  • Develop product positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Create executive-level sales tools and customer-facing collateral.
  • Train global sales, FAE, and business development organizations on market opportunities, product capabilities, and competitive differentiation.

Work on Technology That Is Transforming the World
