Job Description

Practice

Randall Oaks Animal Hospital opened in June of 2002 and encompasses many years of veterinary experience. Our veterinarians strive to keep your pet healthy through preventative care and the compassion we show toward pets and their owners at all times.

We are proud to serve the communities of Carpentersville, East and West Dundee, Algonquin, Elgin, Huntley, and surrounding areas. We are open Monday through Saturday.

More about the Role

At Randall Oaks Animal Hospital in Carpentersville, IL we're looking to add a full-time or part-time veterinarian to our team! We are currently a two-doctor, small animal practice that opened our doors in 2002. We're lucky to have a support staff that is loyal to our practice and clients, and most have been with us for over 10 years. Even at our busiest, we maintain a casual and relaxed work environment!

Our doctors’ clinical interests include internal medicine, general surgery and dentistry to name a few. We welcome any new or recent graduates, and are happy to provide a strong mentorship program. Our current patients consist of dogs and cats, although we’re open to adding exotic species if you have an interest. For any DVMs that enjoy shelter medicine, we partner with a local foster-based rescue and help with examinations weekly.

Although we're currently in a small store-front location, we have plans later this year to expand our facility to give us more room to practice, so you could be in on the development of those plans!

About the area: Carpentersville is a scenic community right along the Fox River in northern IL. It has a large concentration of parks and forest preserves which have created a lot of beauty and nature within the area. We are an incredibly upbeat community with affordable housing, successful businesses, and great school systems. We are part of the ‘Golden Corridor’, named after the area’s decades of development and success. The diversity and energy offered by the community prove it to be a great place for any family to grow!

Heartland Veterinary Partners

About Heartland Veterinary Partners

Heartland Veterinary Partners is a support organization that is committed to improving the lives of veterinarians. We purchase veterinary practices and provide operational support to relieve administrative burdens such as payroll, recruiting, HR, marketing and accounts payables. If needed, we invest to support growth. The practices maintain their unique branding, culture and clinical autonomy.

At Heartland, we believe that selling a veterinary practice shouldn’t mean losing what makes it remarkable. When we acquire a practice, the doctor comes first. We listen closely to their needs in order to create a one-of-a-kind solution to ease their administrative burdens—all without disrupting their day-to-day operations, the culture they’ve fostered, and the relationships they’ve built. In other words, the name over the door doesn’t go away. The headaches of running a business do.

Partnering veterinarians appreciate an improved work-life balance, less financial worry, and the confidence that their teams will be in good hands. Best of all, they get to focus on why they entered the business in the first place: to care for animals and to be present when their clients need them most. Practice team members enjoy the warm culture of their individual community practices combined with the support and resources that Heartland brings to the table.

Improving the lives of veterinarians means supporting them at all stages of their careers. Whether you're a veterinary student or a new graduate looking for hands-on learning to begin your career or an experienced veterinarian looking to tackle management and leadership opportunities, we keep your goals at the heart of everything we do.

The Heartland Support Center team is hardwired to serve. We follow the philosophy of servant leadership and put the needs of others first with a genuine desire to help. As a result, Heartland’s practices count on team members to be there for them with heart and solution, not a corporate agenda.
