What if your next practice gave you more freedom to practice medicine your way? This established small animal hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who wants clinical autonomy, meaningful mentorship, and the opportunity to develop the areas of medicine they enjoy most.
Whether you're hoping to perform more surgery, take on challenging medical cases, or simply build deeper relationships with your patients and clients, you'll have room to shape your role around your professional interests. You'll work alongside experienced veterinarians who value collaboration, different perspectives, and continued learning.
The schedule is designed to give you predictable time away from the hospital, with a four-day weekday schedule plus every-other-Saturday morning. New graduates are encouraged to apply, making this an opportunity to start or continue your career with individualized support.
Provide comprehensive small animal care including preventive medicine, diagnostics, treatment, and ongoing patient management. You'll perform routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry according to your experience and interests, educate clients, and develop individualized treatment plans. You'll also collaborate with other veterinarians and the hospital team while continuing to build your clinical skills.
Located in the Kansas City metropolitan area, the region offers a mix of established communities, outdoor recreation, dining, entertainment, professional sports, and cultural attractions. You'll have access to big-city amenities while enjoying the neighborhood feel and convenience of suburban living.
