Job Description

Looking for a veterinary team where you can build a rewarding career, pursue your clinical interests, and still enjoy your evenings and weekends? St. Catharines Animal Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative and experienced team in the heart of the beautiful Niagara Peninsula.

At SCAH, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where pets are treated like family and team members are genuinely supported. One of our greatest strengths is our long-tenured support staff—our experienced technicians, assistants, and client care team work seamlessly together, creating a positive, efficient, and enjoyable workplace where veterinarians can focus on providing exceptional patient care.

Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, dental digital radiography, ultrasound, advanced electro-cautery, multiple IV digital pumps, advanced anesthesia monitoring, and strong diagnostic and surgical capabilities. Whether your passion lies in surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, ultrasound, or another area of practice, we will support your individual clinical interests and help you pursue them through continuing education and learning opportunities.

We are committed to fostering a healthy work-life balance, offering a schedule with no evening shifts and weekends off, allowing you to enjoy everything the Niagara region has to offer outside of work.

We offer a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $120,000–$150,000, based on experience, along with the potential for signing and retention bonuses, comprehensive health and dental benefits, paid vacation, CE allowance and CE days, relocation assistance for out-of-town candidates, and additional industry-leading perks.
