Associate, Vendor Operations Administrator (1 Year Contract)
We are looking for suitable candidates to join our Technology Group as a Vendor Operations Administrator on a contract basis for a duration of 1 year.


What will you do as an Associate, Business Operations Administrator?

  • Vendor Governance & Lifecycle Administration
    • Support end to end vendor lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, extensions and renewals, in accordance with GIC’s Vendor Staff Management and governance policies.
    • Track vendor resource engagements, contract milestones, expiry dates and compliance requirements to ensure timely actions and approvals.
    • Coordinate submission and follow up of Purchase Requests related to vendor staffing, renewals and non panel engagements.
    • Maintain accurate, complete and audit ready vendor records in the GIC Vendor Management System, ensuring data integrity and alignment with governance standards.
    • Act as an operational liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, Procurement, and Finance on vendor administration matters.
  • Vendor Data, Reporting & Controls Support
    • Extract vendor related data and metrics to support VGO dashboards, management reporting and governance reviews.
    • Perform basic analysis on vendor statistics (e.g. headcount, tenure, utilisation, renewals) to identify trends, gaps or follow up actions.
    • Support periodic governance activities such as audits, data validation exercises and compliance checks by collating required documentation and evidence.
    • Ensure timely follow ups on outstanding vendor actions, approvals and documentation to meet governance and control timelines
  • General Shared Services Support
    • Support centralized Technology Group procurement administration activities, including training requests, software subscriptions, and approved vendor related purchases.
    • Collate operational data, administer surveys or polls, and track responses with timely reminders.
    • Provide general administrative and coordination support for vendor governance or operations initiatives as required.


What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

  • At least 3 years of working experience in administration or support functions.
  • Degree holder with experience in vendor administration, shared services, operations support, or procurement support roles.
  • Strong coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests across teams and stakeholders.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Familiarity with vendor management, vendor governance, procurement, or staffing administration is an advantage.
  • Experience using workflow or tracking tools (e.g. Jira or similar systems) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a shared services setting.
