& Summary
You will join the VAT Consulting team within the Tax Consulting department, a group of around 20 specialists supporting a diverse client portfolio across industries. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Luxembourg and across the PwC global network to deliver coordinated VAT solutions.
As an Associate in VAT Consulting, you contribute to delivering VAT advice and analysis to clients at key moments of their business lifecycle. Your work supports clients in navigating complex VAT implications while building your technical and advisory capabilities in a collaborative environment.
Analyse VAT implications of client transactions and business operations across sectors
Support the design and review of VAT‑efficient structures during key business events such as set‑ups, mergers, or new product launches
Prepare and review VAT compliance elements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with international PwC teams to deliver coordinated advice for clients with cross‑border activities
Contribute to client discussions by structuring insights and translating technical VAT rules into clear recommendations
Work closely with other tax and advisory teams to address indirect tax topics including customs duties and insurance premium tax
You will build strong foundations in VAT advisory through exposure to diverse industries and complex client situations. Over time, you will develop your ability to manage client topics independently and contribute more actively to structuring solutions. The role offers continuous learning through collaboration with experienced professionals and international teams.
The skills you bring.
Master’s degree (or in progress) in Tax Law, or degree in Economics with a major in Tax Law
Strong interest in VAT and indirect tax matters
Microsoft Excel: proficient / independent use
French: C1 – full professional proficiency
English: C1 – full professional proficiency
Structure information clearly and apply logical reasoning to analyse VAT matters
Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to shared client outcomes
Proactively learn, ask questions, and adapt to new technical and regulatory topics
You act with integrity, handle confidential information with care, and uphold high ethical standards in every situation
