We’re looking for our next Treasury Associate. Could It Be You?
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treasury Associate to join our dynamic team. The role will mainly focus on preparing and processing documents for opening and closing bank accounts, managing bank signatory designations, and handling bank AML reviews. Additionally, this position is responsible for access management, including the administration of user access controls and permission configuration across corporate banks and Treasury Management Systems (TMS). This role also includes assisting the Cash Management team to facilitate daily wires and other projects as required.
As a Kyriba Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will leverage your deep technical knowledge of the platform to assist in its maintenance, optimization, and day-to-day troubleshooting. Additionally, you will be responsible for daily cash management operations, including the timely processing and review of deposit/withdrawal transactions across various currencies, monitoring and resolving client cases through the INH pod, and performing foundational bank reconciliations.
The ideal candidate acts as an independent worker and analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, consistently delivering accurate and high-quality work under pressure.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Preparing and processing all documentation required for opening and closing bank accounts domestically and internationally, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
• Maintaining accurate, highly organized records and documentation on all corporate entities and signing authorities.
• Completing bank account opening packages, gathering required documentation, and obtaining necessary corporate signatures.
• Conducting general banking administrative functions in support of the Treasury, Brokerage Operations, and Finance Teams.
• Serving as the team's primary point of contact for Kyriba operations, assisting with tool maintenance, routine troubleshooting, and maximizing system features.
• Administering user access and permission configurations across corporate banking platforms and Treasury Management Systems (TMS).
• Managing user access controls and permissions for banking and TMS platforms.
• Managing bank signatory designations, ensuring appropriate authorization levels and compliance with internal controls.
• Providing timely response on bank’s AML reviews.
• Assist the Cash Management Team with daily wires, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
• Processing and reviewing incoming and outgoing payments in various currencies, including bill payments, deposits, wires, and EFTs.
• Executing daily cash transfers and wires as required, assisting the Cash Management team to facilitate timely funds movements.
• Performing daily bank reconciliations, matching bank statements against the GL and reconciling any assigned control accounts.
• Completing manual journal entries for daily funds movements.
• Identifying, investigating, and proactively resolving bank balance variances to clear discrepancies.
• Supporting the Treasury team on various ad-hoc projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives as required.
• Performing other administrative functions including maintaining and writing policies and procedures.
• Monitoring, responding to, and resolving client cases and queries efficiently through the INH pod.
• Collaborating and partnering effectively with diverse internal teams (Legal, Compliance, Risk, AML, Tax, and Finance) to resolve operational or regulatory banking challenges.

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Have a minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the financial services or brokerage industry, with a strong background in bank account management, banking operations, or finance.
• Have a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal teams including Legal, AML, Tax, and Finance.
• Are an independent worker and analytical thinker with the ability to conduct research, analyze data, and resolve complex transactional or system problems.
• Have comprehensive understanding of banking operations, products, services and relevant regulations.
• Have exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage confidential information, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Have meticulous attention to details and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy under pressure.;
• Have well-developed computer skills and proficient in Excel & Google Sheets.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;comfortable communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Be a highly motivated, proactive individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Have demonstrated deep technical proficiency and expert-level knowledge of Kyriba or similar treasury management tools. Knowledge of Bloomberg is an asset.
• CSC and CPH completion is an asset
Compensation Information:
• Base salary range: $60,000 - $70,000
• The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
