The Associate Trainer – Safety Trainer is responsible for supporting and delivering high quality safety training and subject matter expertise services through SITRUST. The role focuses on capability building, hazard awareness, behavioral safety, and practical risk control across manufacturing units, project sites, electrical installations, and contractor operations. The position requires a strong blend of mechanical / electrical engineering knowledge, hands-on EHS experience, and adult learning facilitation skills. The Associate Trainer contributes to strengthening organizational safety culture by enabling individuals and teams to recognize hazards, follow safe work practices, and adopt safe behaviors consistently.
· Deliver structured and interactive safety training programs for employees, engineers, supervisors, and contract workforce aligned with organizational safety standards, legal requirements, and best practices.
· Develop and update training materials such as training modules, facilitator guides, participant handbooks, and assessments.
· Contributes to development of digital and web-based learning modules for internal learning platforms.
· Continuously improve training content based on feedback, incidents, audit findings, and changing operational risks.
· Coordinate with site EHS teams, operations, maintenance, and project teams to identify training needs.
· Support delivery of safety training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
· Participate in customer visits, audits, safety events, and review meetings as part of SITRUST activities.
· Represent SITRUST professionally while interacting with senior leaders, engineers,
· and frontline workforce.
· Provide on-ground safety guidance during training-linked site visits when required

· Experience in core EHS / site safety roles within manufacturing, project, or engineering environments
· Minimum 2 years of experience in safety training, facilitation, or learning & development roles
· Exposure to factory operations, construction/project activities, and contractor management preferred.
· Technical Skills
· Strong fundamentals in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and Industrial Safety
· Good understanding of workplace hazards and risk controls
· Knowledge of safety management systems, permits, and procedures
· Training & Communication Skills
· Effective presentation and facilitation skills
· Ability to explain complex safety concepts in a simple, practical manner
· Strong interpersonal and engagement skills across diverse audiences
