Our Power & Data division in Johnson City, TN is now seeking a skilled Associate Test Engineer to join our dynamic team! As our Associate Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the analysis, simulation, and testing of complex digital control hardware utilized in military and aerospace applications. Working alone or as part of a team, you will be a primary contributor to the analysis and testing of complex hardware. You will report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and enjoy a first shift, onsite work schedule in a very collaborative and welcoming environment.

As our Associate Test Engineer, you will make critical contributions by holding responsibility for the following functions:

  • Perform functional, environmental, and safety tests on electronic systems.

  • Design, develop, and maintain functional test fixtures and procedures for PCBAs and finished products.

  • Prepare detailed test reports, calibration certificates, and update procedures to reflect product changes.

  • Maintain electronics laboratory using 6S and lean methodologies.

  • Partner with design teams to ensure products are optimized for manufacturing testing.

  • Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements.

  • Improve test methods and processes through automation, computer analysis, and innovative thinking.

To be considered for this Associate Test Engineer, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or closely related field

  • Experience with industry standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and multi-meters.

  • Manage competing priorities between active lab work, documentation, and team collaboration

  • Ability to analyze situations and problem solve in a timely manner

  • Proficiency in the use of Ecad Software. Experience with OrCAD Schematic Entry and Cadence Allegro PWB Layout is a plus.

Salary Range Transparency:

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
