Job Description
We’re looking for Associate Test Analyst professionals who is driven and passionate about testing and quality, who can perform design, preparation and execution of testing across an enterprise scale application landscape.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
- Analyse application requirement (User stories / BRD / FRD ) documents.
- Raise appropriate query and maintain query tracker on any clarification on requirement.
- Designing, developing and documenting comprehensive testing scenarios and test cases.
- Follow test processes and procedures defined within the Testing Centre of Excellence.
- Execute test cases and record test evidence with utmost quality.
- Raise defect and define appropriate severity and priority for each defect.
- Re-test fixes and track them to closure within the set timeframes, thereby minimizing any impacts on test execution delivery.
- Highlight risk/issues/blockers to the STA/Test Lead in timely manner.
- Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures/artefacts.
- Map Requirements to test cases in test management tool including associated test steps and test data.
- Ensure that all testing activities is successfully and timely delivered and are according to an agreed project plan / schedule and meets identified success criteria.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, needed to communicate with global teams/stakeholders.
- Practical and simple problem-solving approach.
- Effective Team player with collaborative skills, learning and proactive attitude.
Experience & Personal Attributes
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a test role across various test phases including functional testing, systems and systems integration testing, user acceptance testing and regression testing.
- Knowledge on automation testing with any automation framework. (Selenium with Java / C#)
- Basic knowledge on SQL for Test Data mining
- Basic understanding on API testing
- Knowledge in Capital Market/BFSI/Wealth management or any other financial domain.
- Knowledge on Mobile device testing.
