BUSINESS UNIT DESCRIPTION
Global Technology, Data and AI (GTDAI) is accountable for our bank’s enterprise technology platforms and capabilities globally. The GTDAI works closely with business partners to deliver innovative, resilient technology solutions that enable our bank’s client-focused strategy and connectivity, and drive further modernization, agility and efficiency.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To deliver comprehensive end-user technology support and ensure the effective operation and maintenance of regional system infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver end-user technology support for trading floor personnel, local office users, and regional teams.
Manage and maintain end-user technology equipment including desktops, notebooks, printers, copiers, monitors, patching, telephones, mobile devices, and BlackBerry devices.
Administer and support system infrastructure equipment such as servers, telecommunications hardware, hard drives, backup systems, voice systems, and trading turrets.
Provide remote hands support for network and security infrastructure, including routers, switches, Riverbed devices, and related equipment.
Oversee patch management and application deployment, ensuring timely updates and efficient rollout of business applications.
Support business-related applications, addressing user issues and ensuring optimal performance.
Assist with operational activities in the local communications room to maintain smooth operations.
Maintain accurate infrastructure records and provide administrative support for regional reporting requirements.
Support market data systems for traders, ensuring reliable access to critical information.
Contribute to business continuity planning (BCP) by providing technical support and ensuring preparedness.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree or Advance Diploma in IT, Computing, Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 5-6 years’ relevant experience in supporting the users and system infrastructure systems especially trade floor and mission critical systems
Knowledge and experience in supporting servers, citrix, AD and backup systems as well as the banking/trading systems and market data systems
Basic knowledge of network, local and wide area network, security systems.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills and oversee each problem until resolution
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently
Fluent in Japanese and English
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
This position is required to work onsite.
