Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Business Analyst to join the Corporate Internet Banking Platform (CIBP) team. The role will support the analysis, documentation, and delivery of digital banking capabilities across Asset & Liability domains including Accounts, Virtual Accounts, Loans, Cards, Wealth Management, Liquidity Management, and Foreign Exchange (FX).

The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Senior Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams to analyse business requirements, document functional specifications, support Agile delivery, and ensure solutions meet business and customer needs across web and mobile channels. The platform includes customer-facing capabilities, entitlement-driven access, workflow integration, notifications, servicing functions, and cross-domain interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Senior Business Analysts to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Support the delivery of enquiry and servicing capabilities across:
  • Accounts
  • Virtual Accounts

  • Cards
  • Wealth Management
  • Liquidity Management
  • Foreign Exchange (FX)
  • Prepare and maintain:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
  • User Stories
  • Process Flows
  • Business Rules
  • Acceptance Criteria
  • Traceability Documentation
  • Facilitate requirement clarification sessions and workshops with business and technology teams.
  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements, digitalization, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, requirement refinement, and Agile delivery activities.
  • Assist with defining test scenarios, validating delivered functionality, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Ensure business requirements, assumptions, decisions, and scope changes are properly documented and traceable.
  • Collaborate with cross-domain teams including Accounts, Entitlements, Approvals, Notifications, Dashboard, and Shared Services to ensure consistency across the platform.
  • Support release planning, implementation activities, and post-production issue analysis when required.
  • Leverage AI-enabled productivity tools for requirement analysis, documentation preparation, and process modelling while adhering to governance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 2 to 4 years of Business Analysis experience in banking, financial services, or technology organizations.
  • Exposure to Corporate Internet Banking, Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Retail Banking, Wealth Management, or Digital Banking platforms is preferred.
  • Understanding of banking products and services including:
  • Accounts and Deposits
  • Virtual Accounts
  • Loans
  • Cards
  • Wealth Management
  • Liquidity Management
  • Foreign Exchange (FX)
  • Familiarity with business analysis techniques including:
  • Requirement Gathering
  • Process Mapping
  • Gap Analysis

  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear and structured functional requirements for development teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with:
  • JIRA
  • Confluence
  • Microsoft Office
  • Visio or Process Modelling Tools
  • Understanding of API-based systems, microservices, digital channels, or enterprise platforms will be advantageous.
  • Exposure to entitlement frameworks, workflow approvals, notifications, audit controls, customer servicing journeys, and digital banking user experiences will be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as:

  • Claude
  • Gemini
