Associate ‐ Taxation

(MAS Legato Based at Malabe)

MAS Legato is the Shared Services arm of MAS Holdings, focused on offering Finance and HR services across the organization. The time and operational efficiencies created through a shared services platform makes MAS Legato a critical component of MAS, as a future-ready organization.

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to ensure that all Tax related activities are performed timely and accurately with adherence to the policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare output schedule for taxable supplies (Schedules) and timely uploads.
• Validate the export sales against invoice details provided by commercial & share the validated zero-rated supplies with SBU.
• Validate the value, and revise value for local supply of garment and do the amendments.
• Ensure timely Collection of Tax input Invoices & Filling.
• Ensure smooth processing of SVAT voucher issuing process.
• Ensure timely collection of credit voucher for the next month.
• Ensure all the arrangement for the VAT payment process.
• Provide required assistant to the IRD assessments.
• Responsible for handling VAT refunds and import credit voucher process.
• Responsible for carrying out the With Holding Tax clearance processes for all overseas payments.
• Perform stamp duty process on quarterly basis.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Degree in Finance or equivalent.
• Full or part qualification in CA/CIMA/ACCA.
• 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
