JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation for submission of the annual corporate tax returns and corresponding tax requirements (including tax provisions, tax estimates, withholding tax review, etc) for the Astro Audio and Studios Group
  • Preparation for submission the bi-monthly service tax returns for the Astro Audio and Studios Group
  • Preparation of the tax provisions and deferred tax for quarterly reporting purposes.
  • Review of agreements (Intercompany & External Parties) for tax implications i.e. income tax, withholding tax, service tax, transfer pricing, GST, etc.
  • Seeking early tax finalization/ agreement with the tax authorities on the tax affairs of company
  • Assisting the AVP/SAVP in respect of tax audits conducted by the IRB and/or the RMCD.
  • Liaising with the Tax Authorities (IRB and RMCD), external auditors, Group Finance and other BUs to ensure work is done in a timely and efficient manner

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates must posses at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent. Preferable a CiTM member
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in handling Taxation.
  • MUST HAVE hands-on experience in handling Tax Reporting, Tax Compliance, Agreement Review, Tax Audits and Finalization of Tax Returns.
