
FlexStaff is hiring a Contract Recruiter for our Long Island client, in higher education. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, engage, and hire top talent. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR to ensure a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with hiring managers to complete intake meetings, complete job postings.
• Actively source candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, networking, referrals) with a strong focus on LinkedIn Recruit.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and manage candidate pipelines.
• Coordinate interview schedules promptly and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
• Ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring managers to avoid delays.
• Follow up on feedback within agreed timelines amongst both candidates and hiring teams.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks in the interview process to maintain momentum.
• Partner with stakeholders to prioritize critical roles and expedite decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Provide regular updates and metrics to stakeholders on recruitment progress.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of high volume recruiting experience (corporate or agency).
• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
