What You’ll Do

  • Respond to common user questions and provide clear, accurate information about available IT services.
  • Communicate with users regarding the status, progress, and resolution of reported issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine hardware, software, network, VPN, and endpoint incidents using established procedures and tools.
  • Escalate issues that require additional technical expertise or authorization.
  • Report the status of assigned tasks and communicate risks or impediments promptly.
  • Create, update, and maintain tickets, task hierarchies, and related links in Jira.
  • Perform assigned tasks under direct supervision and participate in required team meetings.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Update hardware and software inventories, standard records, operational lists, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform routine system-administration procedures using documented instructions or guidance from experienced System Administrators.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot required endpoint agents and corporate applications.
  • Support endpoint updates, configurations, and basic security controls.
  • Assist with hardware and software tracking for employee workstations.
  • Follow Exadel’s information-security requirements and report suspected security incidents promptly.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and technical standards.
  • Continuously develop your technical knowledge and professional capabilities.

What You Bring

  • Basic practical knowledge of Windows, Linux, or macOS.
  • Familiarity with endpoint software deployment, system configuration, operating-system updates, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to use command-line utilities and system or event logs to investigate common issues.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with DNS concepts, including record types, recursive resolution, caching, and manual queries.
  • Basic understanding of DHCP and firewall functionality.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools such as Ping and Traceroute.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot basic OpenVPN connections on endpoint devices.
  • Ability to identify and diagnose common issues affecting laptops and office peripherals, including printers.
  • Ability to distinguish between hardware-related and software-related problems.
  • Practical knowledge of common applications and systems used by end users.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, operational procedures, and support guidelines.
  • Understanding of information-security fundamentals and the importance of following corporate security policies.
  • Familiarity with deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting corporate antivirus software.
  • Basic knowledge of centralized endpoint-management tools, preferably Endpoint Central.
  • Familiarity with hardware and software asset tracking.
  • Strong customer-service, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow established instructions, document work accurately, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • A proactive approach to learning and developing technical skills.
