Key Skills: Designing and implementing Sybase environments on AWS EC2 or migrating on-premises Sybase workloads to AWS RDS for SQL Server using tools like AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) .Managing nd optimize SAP Sybase ASE and Replication Server SAP Sybase (ASE, IQ, Replication Server) environments hosted on cloud infrastructure.Experience in managing SQL Server environments service level availability for all production and non-production SQL Server environments including performance, security, and integrity of Microsoft SQL Server databases

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Working in 24*7 support model
2. Providing support in non-production and production environments On-prem and cloud.
3. Owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests, fulfilling requests and resolving incidents within SLAs.
4. Reviewing service-related reports related to disk space, backups and alerting on a daily basis to ensure service-related issues are identified and resolved within established SLAs.
5. Cloud Architecture & Migration: Designing and implementing Sybase environments on AWS EC2 or migrating on-premises Sybase workloads to AWS RDS for SQL Server using tools like AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
6. Installation & Configuration: Installing and upgrading Sybase ASE, IQ, and Replication Server instances.
7. Performance Tuning: Optimizing SQL queries and server configurations using native tools like Optdiag, MDA, and DBCC.
8. High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HA/DR): Configuring replication and standby servers to ensure business continuity.
9. Security & Compliance: Managing user roles, access privileges, and ensuring data encryption and security standards are met.
10. Automation: Developing scripts (Shell, Python) to automate routine maintenance, backups, and monitoring tasks .
