Job Description
Reimagine the infrastructure of cancer care within a community that values integrity, inspires growth, and is uniquely positioned to create a more modern, connected oncology ecosystem. We’re looking for a Strategic Operations Associate to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll report to the Director of Strategic Operations, supporting the operational excellence and data-driven decision-making of our Global Evidence delivery organization. You will be a champion for tech and automation, evolving and maintaining our robust project data infrastructure to produce increasingly actionable insights while reducing manual effort to maintain systems and data. Your day-to-day will include:
Metrics, Reporting & Data Infrastructure
- Build on and evolve our existing project/resource management system, from system design, user guidance, and training, to report building and dashboards (leveraging AI/automation wherever possible)
- Produce regular metrics and other reporting for our delivery organization, directly supporting leadership with insights that inform decision making
- Partner with other functions to integrate data sources and create a holistic view of sales and delivery performance
- Drive data hygiene and quality across systems, using automation wherever possible to reduce manual effort
- Identify new opportunities to surface data to improve decision making and work to rollout reporting and guidance to relevant stakeholders
AI Automation & Workflow Optimization
- Identify and scope automation opportunities in our delivery org that don't require significant engineering investment but have meaningful operational impact
- Serve as a resource for teams wanting to adopt an "automation-first" mindset in solving operational challenges
- Document and train teams on automation capabilities, helping democratize access to tooling across the organization
Strategic Projects
- Lead strategic projects as prioritized within Strategic Operations portfolio to advance our use of systems, build useful resources for the broader org, etc.
Who You Are
You're a proactive, operations-minded professional who thinks in data/metrics and has a passion for using automation to lighten process and allow teams to focus on higher order tasks. You're comfortable in ambiguity, enjoy learning new tech and tools, and have genuine curiosity about how operations work and where friction exists. You thrive when you're talking to teams about their pain points, translating that into data-driven opportunities, and developing solutions that tangibly improve how they work.
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience in operations, business analysis, data analytics, project/program management, or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in or strong learning aptitude for low-code/no-code automation platforms (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Credal, n8n) with hands-on experience building simple automation scripts/agents
- Comfort working with data: spreadsheets, BI tools, system integrations to extract, analyze, and validate data
- Experience building dashboards or reports using tools like Looker, Tableau, Google Sheets, or similar platforms
- Strong project and program management skills—ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and see things through from conception to adoption
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical topics into clear, actionable guidance and training
- Familiarity with CRM or project/resource management systems (Salesforce, Kantata, Jira, or similar)
Extra credit
- Experience in a healthcare, biotech, or highly regulated industry
- Technical skills
- Background in consulting, professional services operations, or delivery management
- Experience creating training materials or facilitating change management initiatives
