Job Description

综述

This role provides day-to-day Stewardship (Environmental, Health & Safety) support to the site by promoting safe work practices, supporting environmental compliance, and assisting with implementation of our Stewardship programs, training, inspections, monitoring, and corrective actions to achieve regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities 职责

  • Deliver new-employee safety orientation training and administer qualification assessments.
  • Support implementation of the Global Stewardship SWP at the Shanghai site.
  • Maintain site EHS management system documentation to ensure internal and external compliance.
  • Complete registrations and enter EHS operational data into applicable government online systems.
  • Track and follow up on internal and external audit/inspection findings and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Coordinate hazardous waste transfer activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Organize occupational health examinations and maintain related records.
  • Coordinate routine environmental monitoring and occupational hygiene (OH) sampling.
  • Lead office safety initiatives, including safety meetings, first-aid readiness, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct contractor pre-qualification and post-assessment reviews.
  • Provide on-site safety oversight for facility maintenance activities and contractor-led projects.
  • Maintain documentation related to facility safety operations.
  • Coordinate facility safety audits, hazard recognition programs, contractor safety meetings and training, PPE management, and Safe Work Permit inspections.
  • Qualifications 要求

  • Education in chemistry, environmental science, safety, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 1 year in an EHS-related role.
  • Demonstrated safety mindset with the ability to identify hazards and assess risk.
  • Detail-oriented, conscientious, and highly accountable.
  • Hands-on and proactive, with a willingness to work in front-line operational environments.
  • Strong written, reading and communication skills in the English language is required.
