Job Description

Monitors overall quality in terms of correctness, completeness, functional and nonfunctional suitability, accuracy, integrity, scalability, reliability and performance of the various components of DN products, systems and networks. Responsible for integrating applications into monitoring solutions and building and maintaining functional and/or performance test frameworks. Analyzes and conducts thorough quality assurance inspections and quality-control tests to ensure that hardware and software operates properly, is defect-free, and meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Drives continual process improvements in the evolution of testing procedures, including development / application of automated procedures, for future replication.

Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding of product features with a focus on ensuring the highest levels of quality across deliverables.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and solve issues.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Report and manage bugs and errors using tracking tools.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of automated testing tools and industry-safe practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate ownership and initiative: Take responsibility for assigned work, proactively identify improvements, and embrace new challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering field. Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of hands on experience in functional testing, with strong focus on Systems Integration Testing and End to End (E2E) Integration Testing. .
  • Proven expertise in test case design, execution, and defect reporting, with solid knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle processes.
  • Knowledge and practical exposure to test automation for web or desktop applications, preferably using Selenium, Playwright or equivalent tools. Experience with API automation testing is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Good Understanding of Web APIs and Rest/Soap APIs.
  • Working experience & Strong understanding about Databases i.e. Oracle, Postgres & capable of writing SQL queries.
  • Experience or Familiarity with tools like SOAP-UI, Jenkins, Git, Copilot or any AI tools.
  • Strong background in requirement analysis, test case creation, execution, and reporting. And Understanding of Server-Client concept.
  • Practical experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, X Ray, or similar platforms, with ability to query and extract details related to test cases and defects.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments, with a clear understanding of iterative SDLC models.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills: English (Written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem solving skills.

Other Qualifications (Not must have, but good to have):

  • Experience of working in global environment.
  • Experience in testing on simulators and hardware, with prior exposure to ATM systems considered a strong advantage.
  • Understanding of Cloud Computing Service models (i.e. IaaS, SaaS etc) or Cloud Platforms (i.e. Google Cloud, AWS or Microsoft Azure etc.).
