The Associate Professional, Software Engineering job assists with designing, developing and maintaining software applications and systems. Under close supervision, this job collaborates with cross functional teams to help implement new software features for Salesforce Application to meet user needs and business goals and upgrade existing software to improve performance and functionality through troubleshooting and debugging standard issues. This job also participates in code reviews to maintain high code quality and learn from software engineering team members.
REQUIREMENT UNDERSTANDING: Understands business requirements clearly and converts them into structured test scenarios, ensuring proper coverage and defect documentation.
AUTOMATION: Partners to apply internal software deployment platform, methodologies and tools to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases. Having automation test knowledge is a plus point.
COLLABORATION: Coordinates cross functional team of product managers, designers, architects, and other engineers to help gather requirements and deliver resolutions that meet business needs and deliver cybersecurity goals.
TESTING & DEBUGGING: Performs functional and regression testing in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; write and execute test cases based on business requirements and use basic SOQL for data validation.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Makes suggestions for improving the software development and deployment processes, and partners to implement the approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability.
DOCUMENTATION: Maintains comprehensive documentation for software applications, deployment processes and system configurations.
PRODUCTION SUPPORT & USER MANAGEMENT: Acts as a first responder by handling user onboarding, access management, and minor production issue fixes.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT (DATA LOAD): Manage data loading and data maintenance activities using Data Loader, Workbench, and Excel; Salesforce certification is a nice-to-have.
At least 1 year of relevant experience required. Typically reflects 2 years or more of relevant experience.
