About the role:
Build and run Maersk's homegrown Tech Ops products — Maersk Service Atlas, Tech Change Portal (Flux), Maersk Tech Standards Portal and AgentFlow — that raise the company's operational excellence posture and simplify business workloads through agentic automation. This is an AI-first, full-stack role: you go wherever the problem sits and use AI tooling as your default way of working, not an optional aid.
What you'll do:
Build the systems that keep global technology honest. Work on an enterprise-scale asset registry tracking every technology asset, its owners and its resilience posture — building the views, certification workflows and APIs that other platforms depend on before code reaches production.
Engineer the guardrails for change at scale. Develop the workflows, integrations and controls behind how production change is raised, approved and tracked across the company, plus the UX that makes governance feel effortless rather than bureaucratic.
Turn engineering standards into live, measurable signal. Ingest data from a dozen enterprise sources, implement the scoring logic, and make it increasingly agentic so insight surfaces itself instead of waiting to be asked.
Automate real business workloads with AI agents. Build connectors, nodes and reliability features on our agentic workflow platform, working directly with business stakeholders to replace manual, repetitive processes with working automation. You'll see the hours you give back.
Own what you ship. Write tested code, fix defects with regression tests that stop them recurring, and shadow on-call to build real operational instinct — because here, you build it, you run it.
What you'll bring:
Engineering foundations
Strong grounding in data structures, algorithms and OOP
Full-stack ability across Python/FastAPI, TypeScript/React, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
AI & agentic engineering
Exposure to building AI agents with LangChain / LangGraph orchestration and Google ADK
Working understanding of RAG — chunking, embeddings, vector retrieval and grounding
Familiarity with LLM evaluation: prompt testing, output benchmarking and regression checks on agent behaviour
Fluency with AI coding assistants, applied with critical thinking rather than blind acceptance
Infrastructure & platform
Hands-on exposure to Azure and Kubernetes
Understanding of Temporal for durable workflow orchestration and Kafka for event-driven services
Comfort with Git, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Operations mindset
Understanding of monitoring and observability — golden signals, alerting and failure detection
Familiarity with DevOps and SRE principles: SLOs, incident response and full-lifecycle ownership
Ways of working
Comfort engaging business stakeholders and translating operational pain into working automation
Learning agility and clear communication
Why this role:
You'll write code that thousands of engineers across Maersk feel every week — in how they ship change, prove resilience and measure their own quality. It's a rare combination at this level: greenfield agentic AI work, enterprise-scale data, and a direct line to the business problems you're solving.
