Salary:

$3,657.34 - $5,833.33 per month commensurate with experience.

Serves on software development teams to create and support web-based applications. Performs entry software development support functions. Assists as a developer of enterprise system applications and other software development projects

Responsibilities:

The associate Software Applications Developer will serve on software development teams to create and support web-based applications. Performs entry software development support functions.

- Assists clients and co-workers to define application requirements. Identifies programming and output needs.

- Assists in and verifies preliminary design and output, and recommends technical and procedural design for new or revised applications including flow charts, system specifications, programming guidelines, and code review.

- Assists in reviewing, modifying, and writing program code and job control language.

- Assists in writing documentation of system procedures and guidelines for application users as well as for programs and program modifications.

- Assists with testing of complex programs, program modifications, or applications.

- Answers questions and provides technical assistance and training to application users. Resolves problems by reviewing and analyzing software documentation and production outputs to identify causes, solutions, and make appropriate referrals.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- No experience required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

- Knowledge of web site development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of object-oriented development (e.g. C#, ASP.NET or PHP) applied in a web environment.

- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

- Occasional work outside of normal office hours/weekends

- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with web site development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Experience with object-oriented development (e.g. C#, ASP.NET or PHP) applied in a web environment.
