About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Associate – Transport Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality engineering design, technical leadership, and project management across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is an opportunity to influence strategic direction, mentor emerging talent, and drive excellence in project delivery.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading the delivery of transport engineering design and analysis tasks to the highest standards
  • Applying sound project management principles to achieve project scope, budget, and timelines
  • Collaborating proactively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Contributing to the commercial success and strategic growth of the business
  • Providing informal leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to team members

About You

You are a highly experienced and respected professional with a strong industry presence and a passion for delivering excellence.

Suitable applicants will be/have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ (preferred/required)
  • 10 - 15+ years of relevant professional experience in Transport Planning & Advisory
  • Exceptional consulting, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, including business planning and budgeting
  • Advanced communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Proven project management expertise across scope, cost, and schedule
  • Sound understanding of Australian Standards and specifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
  • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous learning
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
