Role
Overview


This
is a key role supporting the development, quality, and scalability of CEPRES’
Data Value Chain and Market Intelligence offering. The position combines
private market financial expertise, data ownership, and technology‑driven
execution, with a strong focus on data governance, product support, and
operational excellence across the market data lifecycle.


The
role requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Data, and
commercial stakeholders and plays an essential part in ensuring CEPRES data
flow, market data and derived products meet the highest standards of accuracy,
transparency, and usability.


Expected
Responsibilities and Activities Include


1)
Market Data & Data Flow Ownership


  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME)
    for CEPRES market data and the end‑to‑end market data value chain.

  • Own and monitor the full data flow at
    CEPRES, from initial data ingestion through processing, validation, storage,
    and downstream consumption in products and reporting.

  • Design, implement, and maintain data
    monitoring and control mechanisms to ensure transparency, traceability, and
    timely issue detection.

  • Identify operational gaps across the
    data lifecycle and work with internal stakeholders to close gaps and strengthen
    data flow reliability.


2)
Data Governance & Data Quality Management


  • Drive market data governance,
    including defined ownership, standards, and maintenance routines.

  • Monitor all market data contributors
    to ensure timely and complete updates and additions in line with agreed
    governance standards.

  • Proactively investigate data anomalies
    and inconsistencies, conduct root‑cause analysis, and coordinate remediation
    across relevant teams.

  • Ensure data monitoring is in place to
    support both managerial oversight and immediate operational action when issues
    arise.


3)
Market Data Derived Products Support


  • Ensure all market data‑derived
    products are continuously maintained with fresh, comprehensive, and reliable
    data.

  • Monitor data coverage, quality, and
    consistency to safeguard stable and high‑quality client‑facing market insights.

  • Partner with Product and commercial
    teams to prioritize improvements aligned with business and product needs.


4)
Product Design & Implementation Support (Data SME)


  • Serve as data SME for Market
    Intelligence and market‑derived products across product design, enhancement,
    and implementation phases.

  • Provide structured input on data
    feasibility, interpretation, mapping, and edge cases to Product and Engineering
    teams.

  • Translate market requirements and user
    needs into clear data definitions and validation logic.


5)
Workflow Optimization & Efficiency Enhancement


  • Ensure that market data flows into
    CEPRES’ Market Database are efficient, transparent, and not blocked.

  • Design and implement workflow
    improvements, including standardization, automation, and enhanced monitoring
    where appropriate.

  • Leverage AI‑based productivity tools
    (e.g. Copilot, Gemini, Claude) to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and
    increase operational scalability.


Requirements


Required Background & Experience


  • Solid working knowledge of corporate
    finance, preferably with exposure to private market investments (e.g. private
    equity, private debt, real assets).

  • Proven experience handling large and
    complex datasets and working in analytical or data‑driven environments.

  • Hands‑on experience with SQL and Power
    BI for data analysis, validation, and reporting.

  • Practical experience applying AI tools
    to improve workflow efficiency and analytical productivity.


Preferred
Qualifications


  • Experience with data governance, data
    quality frameworks, or lifecycle monitoring.

  • Familiarity with analytical data
    models, ETL/ELT concepts, or large‑scale data platforms.

  • Experience working cross‑functionally
    in product‑driven or technology‑enabled environments.
