Associate / Senior Associate │ Criminal Injuries Compensation & Personal Injury 1 to 6 Years PQE │ Perth, WA About Our Client Our client is a well established national plaintiff firm with an office in Perth. The firm acts only for injured people, on a no win, no fee basis. Its Perth practice covers criminal injuries compensation, workers compensation, motor vehicle, public liability, medical negligence and TPD claims. The Opportunity Our client is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Perth office. The role is mainly criminal injuries compensation, with exposure to the firm's wider personal injury work. The title will match your experience. Most of your file load will be compensation claims for victims of crime. You'll take instructions, gather police, medical and other evidence, and prepare and present applications through to determination. Alongside this, you'll work on other plaintiff personal injury matters, which broadens your experience beyond a single scheme. The clients have often been through traumatic events, so this role needs someone who is both technically sound and good with people. Key Details Practice split: mainly criminal injuries compensation, with the balance across other plaintiff personal injury work Title: Associate or Senior Associate, depending on experience Remuneration: $120,000 to $200,000 depending on experience [plus super / package, TBC] About You 1 to 6 years' PQE, admitted in WA Experience in criminal injuries compensation, or plaintiff personal injury (workers compensation, motor vehicle or public liability) with an interest in criminal injuries work Able to manage your own file load and prepare claims with strong supporting evidence Patient and clear with clients who have been through difficult events Well organised, with sound drafting skills What's on Offer Associate or Senior Associate title, depending on experience Broad plaintiff experience, with criminal injuries compensation at its core A national firm that acts only for injured people How to Apply This search is being managed on a confidential basis by Hooker Heijden Legal Recruitment.
