About this role

Team

The Business Management & Specialist team, part of the Taiwan Wealth team, partners closely with relationship managers, a wide range of business stakeholders and leaderships to ensure solid business operation and growth.

We are the center of BlackRock’s Wealth business in Taiwan, assisting sales head in driving business execution across a group of competent relationship managers. As the heart of the business, our duty spans across strategic initiatives, business coordination & governance, functional specialties, as well as providing specified client support in a daily basis.

Responsibilities

We are hiring an Associate with functional specialties in supporting sales-related activities. In this role you will:

Report to team manager and assist in the business administration of the Wealth team in areas such as regulatory compliances, operational support, client services, and sales management. See below.

  • Assist the manager in ensuring sales content excellency, working with compliance team and serving as the gatekeeper on content quality; prepare documentation and interact with the inspector during financial inspection.
  • Support relationship managers across different client events, including advisor training, investment seminar and client forum. Coordinate throughout pre-event and post-event processes and ensure adequate compliance and strong client satisfaction.
  • Take lead in sourcing servicing providers for tasks such as event coordination and premiums production and managing vendor relationship.
  • Assume a good range of client account coverage across lifers / banks / asset managers, supporting relationship managers in fulfilling specified client requests.
  • Serve as the local champion to firm-wide CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics), partnering closely with regional COO team on driving efficiency and usage of designated system and function.
  • Provide guidance to Wealth team interns, activating them to strongly fulfill both internal and external assignments.

Requirements:

  • SITCA licensing (Senior Securities Specialist or Securities Investment Trust & Consulting Professionals) is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales support function within asset management industry, or in similar supporting function within financial industry with track records. Experience in SITE financial inspection is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communicating, coordinating and interpersonal skills.
  • An organized, detail-oriented, and positive mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
